What does Wellness mean to You?

The Muslim Community Center for Human Services would like to invite you to attend our Third Annual Wellness Conference - "What does Wellness mean to You?" on Saturday, July 15th at Masjid al-Islam in Dallas.

Saturday, July 15, 2023

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Masjid Al-Islam, Dallas, TX

This signature conference is a continuation of an annual series where we come together to collectively discuss how to overcome issues faced by the Muslim American community and to understand what "wellness" means to you: whether it is building safe spaces, practicing mindfulness and self-care, or channeling positive energy. The conference will feature break-out sessions and wellness activities for all communities of Muslim American leaders: youth, men, women, and faith leaders, followed by lunch and boba tea, and reflections by our keynote speaker and panelists.

Our keynote speaker is former NFL football safety for the Dallas Cowboys, Kenny Gant, who will be inspiring us with highlights from his wellness journey.

MCCHS has been a leading organization for the community in terms of advocating for mental health and wellness as we emerge from a mentally and physically exhausting pandemic. We are taking a proactive approach by spotlighting the need for addressing mental health with community leaders and invite you all to register for this FREE event: What Does Wellness Mean to You?
